Berry College Half Marathon

** This is the third part of a series of creative blogs posts about my experiences running. Read parts one and two here. Also, my phone crashed before I got my photos off of it, so unfortunately, no pictures for this trip.**

Instead of a picture from the half marathon, here is one of my favorites from mine and Tyler’s engagement shoot. Tyler and I are dropping pebbles into the creek below. They made such a pleasant plopping sound! Behind us is the Old Mill, which was included in the half marathon course.


Once upon a time, in a land not so far away lived a girl named Morgan, who did a very silly thing. She signed up for a half marathon (under the influence of the glowing positivity that is the Tough Girl Tribe) and convinced her friend Erin to run it too. All winter, (well, at least most of it) Morgan and Erin trained dutifully. They ran several times a week during their lunch break, and on the rare occasion that it was too hot, they ran before work. Morgan even went on an 8 mile training run one weekend at a local park!

Soon enough, it was time for the half marathon, but little did they know, getting to the race was going to be a challenge in and of itself! In summary, Morgan and Erin (metaphorically) clawed their way up and over the following obstacles:
